Thank you big fish gamer for the info. I thougt I would try your site and see if it was big fish games site that was down or if it was my puter that was the problem. Good to know that it was not me. Now I can go have a cup of coffee to help with the withdrawal symptom of not being able to play games. Guess I need to get a life. lol

okay this isn’t about big fish being down - although I’ve noticed its down quite a bit especially the caribbean rooms anyway…what I want to know is this….why when the ball or whatever is in play and the time runs out its over - points are lost; so my question is this - when the ball is in play why cant it play out instead of stopping in mid stream so to speak……

The Big Fish Slots game is full of problems for me and apparently for a lot of other people as well. It became so frustrating at one point with the freezing/crashing and rank losses that I stopped gathering questions and answers to the trivia for my site. I figured I’d go back today and pick up where I left off in hopes that Big Fish had fixed some of the problems, but after my game froze up a few times I gave up once again.

Hi from Australia it is 1.11 pm thursday, and yet again BIg FIsh site is down, what is the go here, it is happening more and more regularly these days, if it is not the site it is the SLots, perhaps a message on the board from Big FIsh Moderators about the problems and time frames that the site is going to be down would be appreciated. Any news is better then none, as i am sure i am not the only one wondering when the site is going to be back up and running. and GLogger sorry to hear about your rank, i have lost mine too in the past and one person i know has lost hers 5 times in the past 2 months, most annoying to say the least..and yes there should be a way or repairing ranks,if the system can store our names and ranks as we leave them on a daily basis they should be able to repair them, must be a system with our account details that can be tapped to know on a daily basis what our ranks are, Anyways that is just my thoughts on the rank issue. Hope to be big fishing soon..

I have more trouble with this site than anything else. Sometimes it takes forever to come on. Right now it says my Windows I E is not responding. I often read on the chat about taking forever to get on the game but I pay every year for good service. I was playing bingo this morning with no problem and can’t get anything now. Please explain this. I like playing on Big Fish.

No doubt like every other Web site, BigFish.com experiences scheduled and unscheduled down times. If they’re scheduled, it would be smart on their part to divulge that information, so that users know. If it’s unscheduled, well, it’s safe to say it’s a surprise for everyone.
One thing I’d recommend to everyone, and especially anyone experiencing constant problems, is to regularly clear out both your browser and Java caches. These are places on your computer where pieces of the game software, and other Web stuff in general, are stored. What happens is as Web pages or games change, the components on your computer don’t change with them, which can be the source of many errors. Yes, this may cause the Web site or game to take a couple of seconds longer to load and open up the next time you go to it, but that’s because your computer is downloading the latest information. Here’s how to clear your caches:
Firefox 3:
1. Click on Tools in the menu bar, and then click “Clear Private Data…”.
2. A window will open with a list of items and checkboxes. Clear all of the checkboxes except for “Cache”.
3. Click the “Clear Private Data Now” button.
4. Close and restart Firefox.
Internet Explorer 7:
1. Click on Tools in the menu bar, and then click “Internet Options”.
2. The “Internet Options” window will open up. Click on the tab titled “General”.
3. On that tab you’ll see a section titled “Browsing history”. Click the “Delete…” button.
4. The “Delete Browsing History” window will open up. Click the “Delete files…” button.
5. A dialog box will open, asking you to confirm (yes or no). Click “Yes”.
6. Close and restart Internet Explorer.
Sun Java :
Check to see which version of Java you have running:
1. Click the “Start” button to open your Windows menu.
2. Click “Control Panel”. This will be on the right side of your menu.
3. When the “Control Panel” opens up, scroll until you find the “Java” icon. Double-click “Java”.
4. The “Java Control Panel” window will open.
5. Click the “General” tab, if it’s not already selected.
6. Click the “About…” button to see which version of Java you have running. A new window will open showing program details. The latest version is “build 1.6.0_07-b06″.
7. Click “Close” on the “About Java” window to go back.
If your version of Java is different:
8. Click the “Update” tab.
9. Click the “Update Now” button at the bottom of the window. This will contact their server and download the latest version of Java for you.
10. Follow the steps to finish the installation.
Clearing the cache:
1-5. Go through the above steps to open Java (if you closed it).
6. At the bottom of the window, you’ll see the “Temporary Internet Files” section. Click the “Settings…” button.
7. A new window will open. At the bottom of it, click the “Delete Files…” button.
8. A dialog box will open. Depending on your configuration of Java, there may be one or more checkboxes listed. The only one we’re interested is “Applications and Applets”. Make sure it is checked, and click the “OK” button.

I think the game site is down again today, i can log on but not play any games, been into all different games and people in chat saying the same. E-mailed BigFish but no response as yet, would be nice if they put a message box on the site so that we know.
