Thanks to Aardvark, we now have a great resource for Mouse Untrap solutions! She and a few friends have put together screenshots of their solutions and have organized them by the starting location of the mouse:
Mouse Bottom
Mouse Top
Mouse Left
Mouse Right
If you want to submit your own screenshots to the growing collection, you may submit them via email to domme@comcast.net. Aardvark requests that you please leave your screen shots at FULL SIZE so they are uniform when she puts them in the album. (As far as how to take a screenshot, here’s a screenshot tutorial for PC users.)

This is a great idea. I have tried to use it 5 times this morning unfortunately none of the puzzle I had were on it. I would love to submit puzzles, but I do not remember how to do screenshots. Can anyone refresh my memory on this so I can help.

I provided a link in the post on how to take screenshots for PC users. If you use a Mac, I’m sure it’s even infinitely easier and there’s got to be a similar guide out there.

Hi again LURE ..
Sorry to bother you and I promise this will be the last time on this subject. (grins)
I am only collecting the solved puzzles for the HARD and GENIUS levels - not the Normal ones as they are pretty easy to get. It seems that the sight is using the same puzzles for HARD and GENIUS - so there is no need to separate the 2 levels into categories.
Thanks so much again for your help on this. There have been several people submitting their puzzles.

Hopefully we will get some more puzzles up. I played all day yesterday and not a single one of the games I got was included on the website. So I took a lot of X’s still. LOL. Would there be anyway to organize the shots by say the starting location of the mouse. 1st grid 2nd grid etc. It takes quite a long time to go through all the shots and if there are still so many missing…..just a thought.
Aardvark (Teresa) 07.23.08 at 10:29 pm
Hmmmmm…. I understand it does take a few minutes to go through all those screen shots to “hopefully” find the one you are working on. However, in order to sort them by the mouse starting position on the grid - row 1,2,3,4 or column 1,2,3,4 etc. - each time I added a new batch, I would have to resort and move the ones already there to place the new ones.
My only other option would be to make 10 SUB folders under each of the 4 main folders - one sub folder for each row or column the mouse was sitting at. (Example would be: mouse starting TOP - Column 1) Let me think on this.
I am waiting on a reply from Big Fish to see if they will tell me approximately how many puzzles there are. If there are only hundreds, then I will continue to collect and post the screen shots. I have over 400 now. IF there are thousands - well then, I think this would all be futile to even think about maintaining.
Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated!! Thanks for all the input so far.

Hey Thanks!!!!!!!!

You are great and thank you so much for providing these “helpful hints” as I am always having to pass this one up cause I can’t seem to see the solution. Way to go-thanks so much.

Although a great idea the combinations of both levels are in the Billions. Finding the right one on the website would be like trying to win the lottery.
Lure 07.26.08 at 12:16 pm
True Larry, but what if the puzzles aren’t randomly generated? I assume that’s the theory that Aardvark and friends are hoping to be true.
Larry 07.27.08 at 9:49 am
Maybe we can hear some success stories then to? As I have looked over 20 times and never found one match yet.

I just had a delay message when i sent mail to domme@comcast.net.
Is there an alternate email where we should send screenshots? Or shall we just wait.
Aardvark (Teresa) 07.31.08 at 9:28 pm
There should be no problem sending the screen shots to my email address. I am getting quite a few of them and I have no limit on my incoming mail. Perhaps you tried to send too many (too big of an upload) from your mail server) is why you are getting that error message. Try sending in just one or 2 screen shots at a time. If you have any problems, let me know.
domme@comcast.net - please try again.
And THANK YOU to all who are sending them in. I am working on uploading about 200 more screen shots tonight. I was away for a few days so I am a little behind on getting the uploads.
Also - this is to LARRY. There are more success stories that perhaps you are seeing. A lot of people are not posting each time they find their puzzle and there really is no need for them to do so. If you are not satisfied with the results, then just don’t waste your time looking. I have enough people encouraging me to continue so until further notice, that is what I plan on doing.
Have fun everyone .. ENJOY YOUR GAMES!

Teresa, don’t take me wrong but the combinations could be in the trillions, We don’t know. If it is all random picked then you would never get the same exact one. If he/she used the Random Number generator such as they do in Cards and internet poker then the odds are 100,000,000,000,000,000,000 to 1 of finding the same exact one.
I said it was a good idea just prehaps impossible to find the right puzzle.
I have no axe to grind with you. Thats long in the past and forgotten.
Aardvark (Teresa) 08.02.08 at 2:41 am
LOL I understand perfectly! No offense nor axe grinding here at all! It is just something for me to do to attempt to contribute is all, I guess. The ones who have found their puzzles seemed quite pleased.
Speaking of the past - now you have me thinking! I take it we have met. lol
Care to enlighten me?

Hey Aardvark,
I’m so confused…lol..that isn’t hard for somebody like me…but I have as of yet to find one answer I am looking for?! Am I doing something wrong?! I want so badly to able to beat this “stupid” mouse…and yet never seem to be able to solve the darn things! Are there more puzzles than answers? Or am I missing something?
Thanks!!
Dom 08.21.08 at 9:32 am
Aardvark,
I am still working on the “hard” mousetraps and can never find the answer to the puzzle here. It would be awesome to get more answers to the hard level on here!
Gail 08.22.08 at 11:32 am
It seems to me that the solution could be found by looking at another starting side as long as the exit hole, start mouse and the cheeses are in a respective location. I tried to look in all 4 files and was not successful. However, I believe logically that should work if only you knew what I was trying to say.
Linda 10.08.08 at 3:21 pm
For sub-categories could you maybe divide the puzzle results as to which quadrant the mouse hole is in? That way you wouldn’t have to resort every time you got a new puzzle answer but would still be easier & quicker for people to find the puzzle they want.
