A funny little thing happened this morning in Riddle O’Day…
This unicorn (complete with painted toenails — yes, we’re looking at you vijay) came with 700,073 tokens instead of the usual 100,000. It was announced in chat that the unicorn was worth that many tokens as well. Anyone else experience this or a similar oddity?

A few weeks ago I was getting points for everything in riddle @ normal x5 + 73 so wisps etc were 573 gnomes were 5073 and boggarts 25,073

Since we were recently advised that taking advantage of a glitch in the game is against TOS, does this person lose the extra 600,073 tokens? Or wasn’t it a glitch? I hope it wasn’t. WTG whoever got those!! :)

WTG..!! I gave up playing that game when I got a Uni but it never counted, because of “Chat Server Connection Lost” - Which I get VERY often, and it’s NOT my ISP… So since that happened, I stopped playing.. BTW Muffy… That’s not taking advantage of the game.. There’s no reason that you shouldn’t get the 700,073 tokens.. People can wait a very long time for the Uni, and I personally think that this is fair..

I couldn’t tell ya if that was a glitch or not as I have never gotten a unicorn. But I certainly hope Big Fish doesn’t consider that a glitch in the game as it’s not the person’s fault. They weren’t abusing anything, it just came up that way for them. So BigFish certainly should not deduct points from that person!

Just reading this supposed “glitch” and the comment that taking advantage of glitches are against TOS. Well how can we control what points BF gives us. They sure screw us out of a lot of tokens and tell us there is nothing they can do to give them back to us. Any of you who played slots and experienced or heard the horror stories of the many countless people who lost their ranks and some not only once or twice but some as much as 6 times. So until BF can fix things on their end take what you can get, because they sure wont give up any of their precious tokens to make wrong their shortcomings.

What is meant by normal x5 on whisps gnomes and boggarts. I am a paying player and only get 1 x so I get 100, 1000 and
5000. I have all but quit playing because I never seem to get over 10000 tokens for answering the riddle, and get 99% whisps and regular fairies @ 100 tokies each

Way to go Vijay. Thats a pretty sexy looking unicorn. Personally I would have picked fuschia, but who am I to say.LOL! I think Big Fish should adopt this one & while they’re at it, go & send us the amount of unis,boggeys,
queens that we were getting at the get go. Those wisps are’t helping the game any because of the points & quantity loss of the ones that count. I don’t stick around more than 15 mins because it’s getting dull. duller & dullest….and thats my $.05 cents worth.

I have gotten the unicorn 8 times. They all had the “painted” toenails. 100,000 tokens each time.

I have gotten the uni and it has always had painted hoofs..It has been awhile since ive gotten a uni but i know hoofs have been purple..

i have been playing from the start and never have seen a unicorn yet.would be nice to get one before i give up on this game.a little change of scenery would be nice.

hmmmm a unicorn and a fairy queen and a boggart……..god knows its been months since i’ve seen anything like that….in fact im lucky if a gnome appears once n while. A change of scenery every now n then would be nice too.

I totally think this is cool ..just when I gave up on ever getting a uni I got 1 the other day..but for the regular amount of tokens.So WTG and enjoy the tokens !

Does anyone from Bigfish actually read the comments? I for one signed the petition to get them to add a little excitement to the Riddle game and still no improvement. I get my chest and thats it….They are really good at adding and updating other games….why not this one??? Anyway, my 2cents…wtg on the 700k Uni….

Is anyone else having problems with team bingo/bingo/unwell mel? For 2 days now, tokens are not being added ,the game keeps saying in red unable to reach cashier, and now the chat wont work. Emailed bigfish yesterday and am still waiting for an answers

my problem is with Big Fish Slots….I lost my rank had to start all over again - reported it but nothing happened. Now it looks like my rank is not moving like it should…been playing and playing and my rank is not moving up at all…………

I Know 1 thing I have been on this site for years & this game could be fun but Big Fish isn’t listening to their members or reading anything about what we the consumer ( some of us ) or the players want and need to stay with this site.. I to have lost my ranking and guppy guppy guppy is the way .. thinking tokens are worthless to us but to Big Fish they mean alot we earn then they taketh away go figure. CHECK UP B/F Make riddle better you are loseing alot of peeps.. I read there questions and problems whats the deal & why can’t you fix it make us all happy if you want to keep us on your site…….Wtg on the 700k uni

You are lucky have been playing for quite awhile and have never got to see the uni. At least you know what to look for, can you tell me if there is the rustling before he shows up or not? That might help me some. I have trouble with the Boggies too but because my eyesight is bad, lol. Thanks and gl in finding the uni again.

I have found the uni once, have played since the beginning.
There is rustling before it shows up. What I saw was the head right next to the red mushroom. Never noticed the painted toenails, as the excitement was great.
As to Boggies, I believe that they are hiding better than they have in the past, I have had rustling a few times and could find nothing, I even had my glasses on :-). The two I did find were well hidden in the tree branches and the fern behind the red mushroom. Boggies are like the Fairies and Wisps on the edges of the “board”……………

There’s definitely rustling before the unicorn, boggart, and gnomes show up. The quiet ones are the wisps, fairies, and fairy queen.

I USE TO LIKE RIDDLE OF THE DAY,BUT ALL I DO IS SET AND HOPE FOR SOMETHING TO SHOW UP BESIDES WISPS AND FAIRIES,ITS VERY BORING WE NEED MORE ACTION IN THE WOODS.

I have been a paying customer since 2005. I have also been playing Riddle since it first came out…before they made the changes to play….and I did get 1 unicorn before the changes but NONE since…..hardly any boggarts since then, and very very very few chest amounts that are over 10,000 tokens. So here all this time I figured that you only get 1 unicorn per player…….lol…..silly me!!! Big Fish? are you all mad at me or something? So my chances of getting a unicorn with painted hooves will be ziltch!!!

antiquecowgirl: I’m sorry to hear that you haven’t seen much in the forest lately! I haven’t spent much time there lately myself, but I can tell you that I’ve gotten several unicorns over the course of the game’s lifespan — and all of them had painted toenails just like the 700k unicorn shown in my original post. I’ve also seen several Fairy Queens, and more fairies, gnomes, wisps, and boggarts than I care to remember.
I’m not sure where these rumors come from about nail polish and limits per account; however, I’m pretty sure that Big Fish didn’t go to the extra trouble to code something special into the game or change it so there’d be less token payouts (that’s obvious from their general lack of customer service when problems occur and their last-ditch efforts to please the “community”). It really, probably is just bad luck, bad timing, or random number generation.
