Imagine my disappointment this morning when I went to do a Riddle and got the following:
It looks like a problem with the javascript to me, so I checked a few different games out on another account, another browser, and another computer running another version of Java. Other people have reported having the same issue — or something similar — so if you’re having problems playing the games today, you’re not alone. Here’s hoping things are fixed before my morning coffee runs out!

No, the games aren’t down today. This same exact thing happened to me months ago and when I contacted BF support they told me I needed to clear the Java cache. I have now gotten in the habit of clearing it ever few days. It actually helps the games load faster. To do this easy fix go into the start menu to control panel, then click on the Java logo (it’s a white square with a coffee cup in it), then under temporary internet files click on ‘Settings’, then click ‘Delete Files’, then click OK. That’s it. You should also clear your browsers temp files cache when you do the java files. Hope that helps.

Oopss. Never mind. Normally that helps but this same thing that happened to you did it for me, despite my previous fixes I mentioned. Yep, they must be down right now. Wonder if that means there will be some changes or new things?….Might be good if that was the case. :)

I was playing about 12 hours ago and everyone new coming into LOBE was saying their game wouldn’t load. I was playing along fine. Until I closed and reopened the game after 3AM PT… It opened, slowly though, then I noticed the last rank I achieved was gone and so was over 100,000 tokens. Apparently, something happened during game play and no “Red Zone” ever appeared to warn me of possible problems, otherwise I would have stopped playing! I reported it, but got the canned 72 hours wait time return email so I have no idea what is going on.
Until I see positive posts on the BFG Forum that it is working again, I will not be going in there and risk losing any more tokens!

It is 1:22PM EDT and big fish site seems to be working well now. First clue was the increase in the amount of players in rooms, played Riddle and LOBE and all went smoothly with no hiccups.
I am sorry to hear of your problem mally, and I hope that you can retrieve your previous status. I will cross my fingers for you.
I also hope someone, either here, or from support explains what the problem was.

It’s been almost 12 hours now, and I still can’t get any of the games to run … all suggestions gratefully received :-/

Thanks Debi…I wasn’t aware of the Java Cache. I always seem to be emptying my temp internet files, but maybe this will help me now as I get constant game freezes and problems with BF Slots. I just suddenly go “poof” and everything closes out causing me to reboot in order to get things straightened out temporarily.

Mally I had problems too getting into rooms and when I finally got into playing team bingo my token total was down by over 300k. Emailed bigfish but as yet no answer!!! I know these tokens are totally useless.For the first time ever I got over 22k in daily game in Unwell Mel and these were lost too lol

My game of LOBE has not been working properly for NINE days now - since I got to einstein 9 when I open the brains if I hit OK everything freezes solid so if i want to carry on playing i have to leave and come back every 7 games! Reported it to big fish and still waiting to hear anything other than their 72 hrs to answer - days must be getting much shorter as if they are going to answer in 72 hrs there must be less than 8 hrs in a day now! lol

I have tried to find the “fix” for being able to download games they have in the forums, but not been able to do so. It is time for me to renew my membership and dunno if I will if I can’t get the downloads,
I hate when they “improve” the site, I have too many issues for too long afterwards. :((

I am not aware of problems, was unaware until reading posts that there was a problem with new game manager. I discontinued my membership, only because I cannot find games of interest and I was playing more in the game community,but I did find the posts disturbing and I would be annoyed with the problems. Scared to use the game credits I do have. (I think I got spoiled with MADAME FATE,and LUXOR 3 want more of those :-)
I am having a problem in game community as games do not keep correct token tallies. BigFish is working on this problem for me, but I have told them not to renew my membership, as I do not believe that it should be a function of game play to keep my own scores. So, I will have to look at adds and keep repeating to myself, it is only a game and the tokens mean nothing……….
I was playing under my other identity yesterday and this morning. In L.O.B.E. people are losing ranks and the game is not adding the token tallies properly for others. BigFish is a great site, but paying is no longer an option for me.

I am considering discontinuing my membership because I have a Mac, and there are so few options for Mac games at BFG. There are so many other great sites with lots of Mac games, I don’t understand why BFG doesn’t get more of those. In addition, I bought a copy of Women’s Murder Club, Death in Scarlet, and it crashed at level 7. So I can’t finish the game. By the way, I tried to post something at BFG and I mentioned a few other sites and my post was censored so those sites were deleted. sigh. I really like BFG but it’s not as much fun anymore.

Hi all,
Not sure if this is the right place to put this but there has been alot of rumours spread around the big fish slots gaming rooms recently regarding the uncovering of a ‘cheaters’ program which has some players winning and gaining triple bonus points off one spin of questions(?). Speculation and innuendo is geared towards those players that are consistently winning in the dolphin rooms and I’m wondering if any further information has come to light? I for one want to play in a ‘cheater’ free zone and hopefully BFG will be able to weed out the bad players. I love the game but I won’t play if the odds are against any of the other teams winning due to computer glitches or intentional progams used to advantage tokens/points. Please BFG, do your research and stop the cheating :)

I don’t know how many responses you’ll get on this thread; you may try commenting (again) on another post that deals specifically with Big Fish Slots.
With that said, I haven’t heard about a glitch or cheaters program in BFSlots, but I have heard rumors of people ‘cheating’. I don’t believe that there’s any such activity going on, but I could be blind to most of it since I haven’t played BFSlots in a while (I grew bored a while ago, and it seems like too much of a risk to lose my rank, I guess). Any such glitch would be a violation of Big Fish’s TOS and I’m pretty sure they’d crack down on it pretty fast.
I can tell you though, that there are a lot lot LOT of regulars in the Dolphins rooms that visit my site and use the answers page (and contribute to it). Perhaps that’s why you’re seeing Dolphins consistently win.

My thought: if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em. Maybe going ‘undercover’ and playing in the Dolphins rooms will prove to you and others that there are illicit programs at work, or maybe you’ll just find a lot of smart and resourceful people to play with.

I wrote in about some cheaters the other day and when BFG got back to me they told me they had just removed some people permanently for it. Apparently they take cheating pretty seriously lol.
They told me that if we see people who are getting multiple team bonuses in a row to report them so they can see the cheating in action themselves. If they’re confident that somebody is cheating they’ll get rid of ‘em.
